Terms and conditions

The agreement

The studio is operated under the trade name LumipixLabs by Yash Patel, 1, Dungarpura, Shri Amirgadh, Banaskantha, Gujarat 385130, India. “You” means the person who creates an account or buys credits. If you use the studio for a business, you confirm that you can bind that business.

By creating an account, uploading a photograph, or paying for a pack, you agree to these terms, the privacy policy, the pricing page, the refund and cancellation policy, and the shipping and delivery policy. If you do not agree, do not use the studio.

Who may use the studio

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. You must give a working email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account until you sign out or tell us the account is compromised.

The service

LumipixLabs provides a workspace where you upload a photograph, mark a point, describe a change, and receive a generated version. The original and each result are kept as versions so you can compare and download them. A pin is a location cue. It is not a promise of a precise mask, a semantic outline, or a pixel-perfect local composite. The editor can change more of the frame than you intended, or it can miss the change you asked for. You decide whether a version is fit to deliver to your client.

The service is a digital tool. We do not print, frame, courier, or otherwise deliver physical photographs. Downloads happen inside the studio, as described in the shipping and delivery policy.

Credits and payment

• Credits are prepaid. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
• A new account has zero credits. We do not grant trial credits on signup.
• Pack names, prices in INR, and the number of edits in each pack are the ones published on the pricing page at the time you pay.
• One credit is one localized pin edit. A whole-image or background edit costs two credits. A higher-quality output can add one credit. The studio shows the cost before you confirm.
• Credits do not expire. They stay on the account that bought them and cannot be sold or moved to another person.
• We reserve credits when you submit an edit and commit them when the result is saved. If the generation fails or the job expires, the reservation is released and you are not charged for that attempt.
• Any tax that applies is shown at checkout. List prices on the pricing page are in INR and do not themselves add a GST amount.
• You must pay with a method you are allowed to use. Card and UPI details are collected by the payment gateway. We do not ask you to send them by email.

Buying credits is not a deposit with a bank. Credits have no cash value except for the refund cases in the refund and cancellation policy.

Your photographs and prompts

You keep ownership of the photographs you upload and of the prompts you write. You give us a limited licence to host those files, send them to the image or transcription provider, and store the resulting versions, only so we can provide the studio to you. The licence ends for a given file when that file is deleted, except for short-lived copies a provider or a backup may still hold, and except for ledger records that do not contain the image.

You are responsible for the photographs and instructions you submit. You confirm that you have the rights and any consent required to upload, edit, and download them, including rights in a person’s likeness where that consent is required.

Acceptable use

You will not use the studio to:

• Break applicable law, including law on privacy, defamation, obscenity, and intellectual property.
• Create or edit intimate imagery of a person without that person’s consent, or any sexual content involving a minor.
• Impersonate a person in a way meant to deceive, or to produce a fraudulent identity document.
• Upload malware, or attempt to probe, overload, or bypass access controls on the service.
• Resell the studio or the credit balance as your own product.
• Use another person’s account, or share your password.

We may refuse an edit, remove a project, or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Credits already spent on a completed edit that broke these rules are not refunded. Unused credits may be withheld where we are investigating abuse, and are otherwise handled under the refund policy if we close the account without a finding of abuse.

Output and your client work

Generated images can be wrong, inconsistent, or unsuitable for print. You will review every version before you deliver it. We do not guarantee that a face, garment, logo, colour, or product will be preserved, or that the output is free of third-party rights. You are responsible for the file you export and for any claim your client makes about that file.

Our intellectual property

The studio interface, brand, and software belong to the operator or its licensors. These terms do not give you the right to copy the product, the brand name LumipixLabs, or the site design. You may download and use the edited photographs you created in the studio, subject to the rights you already had in the source image and to the acceptable-use rules above.

Availability and changes

The studio depends on hosting and on an image provider. Edits can fail, queues can delay, and features can change. We may add, remove, or limit a feature, or pause generation, when a provider is unavailable or when we need to protect the service. A failed or unavailable edit does not reduce your credit balance. We do not promise uninterrupted access.

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. The updated terms apply to use of the studio after that date. A price change applies to purchases made after the pricing page changes. Credits you already hold are not repriced.

Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used for fraud, or that creates a security risk. Where we can do so without adding to the risk, we will tell you by email and describe how unused credits will be treated. You may stop using the studio at any time. Closing an account does not by itself refund unused credits. Ask under the refund policy if you want unused credits from a recent purchase reviewed.

Liability

The studio is provided with reasonable care and as a creative tool, not as a guaranteed retouching service. To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other law that cannot be excluded, we are not liable for lost client fees, lost bookings, or damage caused by your choice to deliver a generated file. Our total liability arising out of a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the unused portion of that purchase, except where the law requires otherwise, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You will indemnify the operator against a claim brought by a third party that your photograph, prompt, or exported file infringed their rights or broke the law, except to the extent the claim is caused by our failure to delete a file after a valid erasure request.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Banaskantha, Gujarat, have jurisdiction, without preventing a consumer from approaching a forum the Consumer Protection Act allows. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under that Act or under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
